Art, Death, Meditation, & Everyday Life: New Work from L'Andrae

L'Andrae' Bradley will show new work on Friday 6:30-10:00pm and will lead a "Meditative Art Doodle (MAD)" workshop on the creative process on Sunday, 1:30-3:30 (see below). L'Andrae's work emerges from the imagination and from his practice of mindfulness in the Shambhala tradition. This work colorfully explores the inevitability of death and the sacred quality of the ordinary. L'Andrae' says, "My work has always been about the evolution of doodling and applying the awareness of the action itself into a work of art. It’s a style that I’ve been doing and re-discovering for over 15 years. My most recent work I created with Prismacolor Markers and Micron Pens. This body of work, I have incorporated various colors, and patterns, of the ups & downs of life-along with my personal practice of daily meditation. I personally feel the work I have now been creating has been more than just the concept of doodling, but also a personal form of meditation as well."
