Doing great things in our community!
Retired Veteran here that survived the 'Pre-Don't Ask/Don't Tell AND Don't Ask/Don't Tell Days" and worked as a community Activist for the AFLCIO when first moving to Columbus for '06 elections. When I visited The Stonewall Center I was elated to see all the information and things these people do. The Non-Profit arena is not a job one will become wealthy in rather, one does it out of passion for the Human Condition! They are now acting as liason for LifeCare Alliance/Project Open Hand's Food Drive and I encourage everyone to support this asset to the HIV community! Matter-in-fact, I just went in today and was greeted by wonderfully friendly staff who wholeheartedly accepted a cash donation for this drive so they can buy wholesale whatever their needs may be and challenge everyone reading this to do the same and give back to our community as you never know when you may unfortunately find yourself as I did almost 4 years ago, needing to use Project Open Hand's services until I got my VA Retirement all straightened out (mind the pun)!!! Kudos for all you do!
