Star Wars Holiday Special Screening!

For one night only, in our Take 5 Cantina, it's your chance to see the terrible, infamous, so bad it's good "Star Wars Holiday Special" on our 20 foot screen! Come celebrate the joy and wonder of Life Day, and prepare yourself to be confused and bewildered by Guest Appearances featuring Bea Arthur, Art Carney, Harvey Korman and Jefferson Starship! Like the Pyramids of Egypt or the Great Wall of China, It has to be seen to truly understand its magnificence! Originally airing on CBS on November 17th 1978, the special received such a disastrous reception from fans and critics, that it was never aired again! The creator himself, George Lucas, has even been quoted saying "If I had the time and a sledgehammer, I would track down every copy of that show and smash it. That's one of those things that happened, and I just have to live with it". But, our Bothan spies have managed to smuggle a copy across the galaxy for your viewing pleasure! You're probably asking yourself, "Sounds interesting, but how many Republic Credits is this going to set me back?" The good news: IT'S COMPLETELY FREE!! The screening starts at 7:30 pm, but feel free to join us beforehand (or after) and enjoy our evening specials. We will be serving $9 Medium Death Star pizzas, and two new $6 Specialty Cocktails: Blue Milk and Yoda Soda. Or, enjoy a Medium Death Star and your choice of drink for $11.38! Please keep in mind, seating is limited and based on a first come, first served basis. Standing room will be available, too.
