This timely and moving documentary film explores the 40 year "engagement" of lesbians Edie Windsor and Thea Spyer and concludes with their marriage in 2007 that became the very foundation of the case presently challenging DOMA before the Supreme Court; US v. Windsor. We will also host a live, post-screening SKYPE Q & A with film makers Susan Muska and Greta Olafsdottir who not only created the film but also accompanied Ms. Windsor at the historic oral arguments of her case before the Supreme Court this past March. Muska and Olafsdottir also produced and directed the critically acclaimed documentary, " The Brandon Teena Story". Join us for this inspiring film and talk with the filmmakers yourself!
