Gay Columbus

The facility is very clean: rooms, showers, pool and hot tub. Staff is always friendly, considerate and customer service oriented-- all qualities I would expect from Midwesterns. The clientele, however, ran the gamut from really old large creepies (noon thru 11pm) to a smattering of younger boys (after bar closing till 9/10 am. With the typical crowd, what appeared to be late 30's to 55 , the youthful pretty boys are in the minority- which is unfortunate since Columbus is loaded with all those college age hotties!

So I traveled from Pittsburgh to see the sights and check out the bathhouses...Club Columbus is a pretty nice little place. Clean with a friendly staff. The outdoor pool and gazebo are are designed well, with little niches and shaded or open areas. Pool was sparkling and seating was comfortable with areas away from the blasting speakers of annoying "thumper" music - a plus in my book! Inside the club is kinda small and the play areas are too dark to navigate, which wouldn't be so bad if they were open areas or had the various amenities on the sides or even slightly illuminated. Unfortunately there are swings and platforms and friggin chain things everywhere in your path that you cannot see and trip, bump into, or otherwise lose your "cool suave" mojo! haha..

Was here for 8 hours one Sunday morning...and spent another 8 hours on a Saturday night. On the second occasion, I realized who some of the regulars must be, because I had seen them 4 weeks earlier during my first visit. Mostly average to below average physiques here. The glory hole and dark room area was fun for me, but I did have to look past some of the obese men sucking and cruising nonstop. Was told the outdoor pool is very busy in the summer. I will have to go back to check it out soon.

This used to be the stellar Club in the chain, last visit after a year away I found it dirty in disrepair and needing a face lift badly. The guys are still hot but the surroundings take away from the experience.
