Union Bar + Food

As a visitor to Columbus, I thought it was a good place to hang out. Bartenders were cute, boys were cute, just a good all-around place. Great for out-of-towners to people watch.

It is not as much fun as the old Union. They have stopped selling Miller Lite (the top selling light beer in Ohio) because of some petty squable with the distributor and a sponsorship. Does Union buy into all of the sponsorships that they are asked to do? Don't think so. I have many, many friends that won't go into Union because of this. Wise up IDIOTS sell beer that people want.

Food came to table wrong, asked for no cheese, second time to table it was cold. Overpriced! OMG noticed it's $8 for a Club that does not include fries or at least CHIPS!! Do yourself a favor - go to Mac's Cafe or Happy Greek!

The food is decent (3-star) but overpriced for what you get. service is absolutely horrible. worst in town. miss the feel of the old union. it seems like they subscribe to the philosophy that if you call it gay you can charge too much, provide lousy service & have attitude. that may have been the case 10 years ago but thankfully, gay people now have more choices. the only nice thing i can say about the place is the patio.
