Great sexy bartenders and they are a bunch of fun people. They dress up in drag to raise money 2 x a year for charity and the croud is always great

AWOL is located a little off the beaten path when compared with the location of most of the other bars in Columbus. It has a neighborhood bar environment and is not terribly crowded. Well-decorated and clean, the patrons are friendly and the smoking patio is among the nicest of the local bars. The only negative aspect about my visit was the somewhat cold attitude of the staff. If you are looking for a nice place to have a drink before going to the busier dance bars or looking for someone special, AWOL is a good choice.

Small kind of a hole in the wall but always busy. Never have problem meeting men there everyone i've talked to is very friendly so far. prices are cheap! Great smoking patio.

Very hard to find and not the best area in town. Was in there last year, had a great time with friends even though it was a dive. Was in there a few weeks back, looks like it was remodled by highschool girls, really bad work. Looked like the crowd had moved from last year, lonely place.
